Kali Tarle, pictured below, receives Member of the Year award at the Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys. Tarle has been involved with the club for over 8 years. Tarle started coming to the club when her older sister, Brittany, was hired as a youth development staff. Kali then started working, at the club, her freshman year of high school. When asked what she enjoyed most during her time at the club, Tarle states, “I loved spending every day with the kids and watching them grow. Future staff and volunteers should enjoy their time as these kids have turned into my family, where I would do anything to help them succeed. I will just miss all of them. If there are a couple of things I hope the kids learned from me during my time, it would be to be yourself, be nice to everyone, and everyone needs a friend so be that friend.” Kali will be attending Slippery Rock University majoring in Developmental Psychology. The staff at the club thanks Kali for all her years serving youth, and being a big part in growing the Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys. Program Director, Tracy Snyder, stresses, “We will all miss her next year and wish her the best of luck!”
