The Fall Slam Fest was a successful 3 on 3 basketball open to all ages, which was held during the Bavarian Fall Festival. Their were numerous competitive teams playing for bragging rights and the title of champions. The championship saw the Tall People vs Chuck’s Champs. Tall People made up of Levi Chillelli, Shay Bauer, Noah Hannah, and Alex Fries forced Chuck’s Champs into a second championship game as they had to defeat the opposing team twice. Chuck’s Champs, however, forecasted the future during signups and won the tournament in the second championship game. Chuck’s Champs featured Anthony Pollick, Collin Hannah, and Chuck Vennard. Chuck’s Champs took home a Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys’ t-shirt and trophy. Tall People received a certificate for 1 large Slush Puppie. Thank you to all the teams who attended!
