On Friday, September 8, the club hosted a hoop shoot contest to youth in grades K-2nd. There were 6 contestants who participated. Participants were asked to shoot 10 shots, as the 3 contestants who made the most shots advanced to the championship round which consisted of 10 shots. The participant with the most free throw shots made after the championship round was named the winner. The winner was Ethan Bleggi making 7 shots; second place was Benny Mecca with 6 shots made; and, Emma Samick receiving 3rd place making 5 shots. Bleggi took home a first place ribbon.
