The Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys hosted their monthly tournament on Friday, February 24. The K-4th grade tournament was hard fought, as The Creepy Clowns defeated the competition. The Creepy Clowns consisted of Alex Mertz, Brody Riekofsky, Dalton Paropacic, Cameron Samick, Brady Lander, Haiden Funair, Benny Mecca, and Troy Herzing.
The 5th-8th grade tournament had a different feel, as Team Awesomeness 5-time consecutive champions found themselves fighting to make it out of the loser’s bracket. In the end, Team Awesomeness defeated the Steel Curtains in game five of the match winning their sixth straight championship. Members of Team Awesomeness were Collin Hannah, Nathan Becquet, Levi Chillelli, Hunter Chillelli, Logan Haller, and Caden Gabor. The next dodgeball tournament is scheduled for April 21st.
