The Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys’s crowned the final champion of 2016, Friday December 16th. In the K-4th grade tournament, the “Pink Panthers” showed up hungry as they defeated “Team Pizza” in the championship. The Pink Panthers consisting of Blake Hoffman, Vinny Defillipi, Alex Mertz, Brody Riekofsky, Jayce Walter, Angelo Catalone, Drew Schutz, and Carter Hoffman earned a free entry into the 5th-8th grade tournament and a custom t-shirt courtesy of Defined by Ink in St. Marys. The 5th-8th grade tournament was arguably the most competitive tournament of the year, as defending champions “Awesomeness” had to earn their wins. Team Awesomeness won their third consecutive championship, as they defeated the “Pink Slimes” in the finals. Awesomeness comprised of Collin Hannah, Levi Chillelli, Shay Bauer, Gavin Deeter, Nathan Becquet, Jake Tyger, Josiah Banks, and Logan Bauer also earned a custom t-shirt courtesy of Defined by Ink. The Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys would like to thank all teams who have participated in the dodgeball tournaments in 2016.
